Ontario government announced as of Monday, Peel and Toronto will be on lockdown. It is disappointing news, but I hope it makes a difference in reducing the spread of the virus. I thought of what I'm going to miss in the next 28 days, and the first thing is dine-in. I decided to drive to one of my favorite pho spots in Mississauga.
888 Dundas St E, Mississauga

Since a food blogger in Toronto @meetandeats talks about Pho Black Bull. I've been supporting this local restaurant mostly take-out during this time. My go-to for this restaurant is their delicious Bánh xèo and Bún bò Huế. Tonight I decided on something else and ordered one of their broken rice dishes. This inspiration comes from my food whisper (@ms.pink.mochi).
Grilled Chicken, Grilled Porkchop on Steamed rice (C1). A generous portion of well-cooked grilled meats and vegetables with fish sauce on the side. A simple plate of food well seasoned with a smoky grilled meat taste. I would recommend ordering this plate even if it's take-out.

Trying other dishes on the menu, I got a green papaya salad. My first impression is this is a shareable plate for an appetizer. A nicely shredded unripen green papaya topped off with beef jerky and surprisingly beef liver. I love the crunch of the shredded papaya with freshness coming from the mint.

I consider this restaurant one of my top Vietnamese restaurants in Mississauga. Great Interior with a kind service from the staff and great food coming out of the kitchen.
