I was always curious about what the food scene is like in Cambridge? So on February 03rd, after delivering an item in London, ON. I decided to stop by Cambridge to quickly see the city with the intent of getting some take-out from a local restaurant. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown in Ontario during that time I can get some take-out and eat in the car. I would eat outside but I remember being cold that day. Not knowing the local restaurants I asked someone on Instagram who does some pretty serious eats @nomswithus.
I thought of burgers and I was recommended to a local restaurant that does everything from Poutine, Burgers, Sandwiches and easy drive when you get off the 401.

The first thing I'd like about this place was its curbside pick-up system. You call in or walk in the window to quickly place your order. The menu is simple with your traditional bar food, but I love their Munchie Apps section. I try to calm down and not order the whole menu but I went for the Deep Fried Cauliflower that was so crispy and love how the batter doesn't fall off from the vegetable. I got the App Size which was so generous I wonder what the Full Size would be like?
Initially, I was only going for a burger then I saw
Leo's Mac and cheese. I went for it and definitely would recommend this mac and cheese. With the gooey texture with different kinds of melted cheese that you will have trouble putting your fork down. They actually have a variety from pulled pork to that classic bacon mac and cheese. When I come back I would go for the other Mac and cheese.
Then I went star of the visit. The home-made burgers and with a side of onion rings. Before reviewing this burger. I was going for #HilliBurger as the menu mentioned proceeds goes to a good cause. The #HilliBurger was actually an appetizing burger with an upside-down bun. Unfortunately, I ordered a lot and decided to go for the Classic Burger. I can see why this burger is voted one of the best burgers in the City. A classic firm juicy burger that is nicely grilled that's beautifully put together. Adding the Onion rings was a good decision instead of fries.
Great restaurants and I can't wait to come back to this place.
