Burger addiction

One of my favourite comfort foods is burgers, especially when it's a smashed patty. Life is good with a delicious burger patty tucked into a soft potato bun with melted cheese. I favour a burger bun, burger patty and cheese only. A delicious smash patty burger is something special to me. I decided to try various burger joints that I have not tried all over Ontario. I based my choice of burgers on people I speak with on Instagram, various Instagram posts and reading through Google reviews. Just for fun let's make a series out of this, as there are too many spots in Toronto.

Rinspire Burger - 2291 Yonge St, Toronto, ON

I ordered the Black Pepper Burger ($7.29) for my first visit to this place. A good recommendation by one of the IG Influencers that I trust. The first impression is how aesthetically pleasing it looked. The meat had a great black pepper sauce. This specialty was cook just right and like to have a double patty option on the menu. The fried vermicelli is a nice touch to the burger as it adds a crunch component. Overall, a great burger but, I suggest having sides like their Cheese fries to complete the meal. The next time I visit this place, I would love to have my sandwich drenched with that sauce.

Burger Drops - 116 Atlantic Avenue, Toronto, ON M6X 1X9

Located in Liberty Village, the people I speak with through Instagram raves about this place. I ordered the double American burger ($10.50) with fries. My first impression is how adorable this sandwich looks as it's well-shaped. The patty has a great colour to it and great crispiness on the exterior. I love how I can pick the crispy bits out of the burger patty. Kudos to the kitchen for cooking it meduim-well. The price for a double burger patty is very reasonable and will put you in a food coma just how good it is.

Harry's Burger - 293 Palmerston Avenue, Toronto, ON

Located around college street and parking is a bit difficult as it is on a narrow road. I can't tell if this place was a food truck or is a small restaurant. I found out about this place through my high school friend. I got the double Jane with bacon ($13.98). The colour on that charbroiled patty was nice, but once you pick it up, that smell of a burger will excite you. The bacon puts another layer of saltiness on the burger and a bit of crisp you want on a smashed patty. I'd say it could use more cheese, but a great burger.

Burgers and Fries Forever - 106 John Street, Toronto, ON

Multiple locations in Ontario

I found this place from one of my go-to influencers on Instagram. I've validated what people are posting, and it looks like a legit place. One good fact is that they have multiple locations in Ontario, but they have an intriguing burger menu. I ordered the original burger and always a double ($15.37). It's a great juicy burger. Everything was right, especially when looking for a good smash burger late at night. In my opinion, it's a bit pricey on my end.

Rosie's Burger - 61 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, ON L5G 1C9

This burger joint is part of my top 3 for a good smash burger patty. Congratulations to this place for adding a second location by Queen Street in Toronto. What I love about this burger joint is the meduim rare patty that you don't see much burger joint do. The menu focuses on burgers, fries, shakes and floats that make it easier for people. The only question you'll have is; Do you want a single, double or triple?

Jabs Burger

Vaughan, ON

I heard about this local business through an influencer on Instagram. She got it right about this place and burgers were unreal. In my opinion, it is one of those burgers that you're caption on your social media feed should be titled "You Gotta Eat Here". The meat had good seasoning on and a crispy exterior. The melted cheese is unlike any other cheese you've had on a burger. Part of my top 3 burger joints, but when I think of going to Vaughan, I have to hit up this place for a burger.
