Every time I'm in Quebec City, I have to eat in Chez Boulay. This restaurant was my first Quebec City I've ever dined too and brings in memories. Memories of the time I stayed in Quebec City for two weeks due to work. My favorite will always be their shredded duck confit with parsnip puree.

Chez Boulay-bistro boréal

1110 Rue Saint-Jean, Québec

What I love about this restaurant is the casual environment located in Rue-Saint Jean Area. A season menu with some sophistication and very mesmerizing plates.

This year as they did not have a duck confit, I went with the recommended Beef Cheeks that had a rich flavor.

Also is the Seared Salmon with Scallops, and the Roasted Farm Chicken Breast. We ended the night with a dessert round of Sea buckthorn tart with custard caramel Ice cream
