An International restaurant chain opens in Toronto back in the Winter. A Peruvian-Japanese restaurant that offers sophisticated dishes with a lot of flares to go with it. One of the favourite restaurants in 2020.
Chotto Matte Toronto
161 Bay St, Toronto

Chotto Ceviche -sea bass sashimi, sweet potato, Peruvian corn, cilantro,
chive oil, citrus sauce. I love that citrus sauce with a nice crunch from the Peruvian corn. Also, sea bass sashimi is well prepared. Purple, Green & White Tostada Chips with a side of guacamole. The chip consisted of cassava, green peas.
Nikkei Calamares - This calamari had a delicious aji amarillo emulsion to dip into
Spicy Edamame - dressed in rocoto chilli dressing Vegetable Tempura - I love the selection of vegetables and how crispy it was.
Everything about this Sashimi Platter is so exquisite. The fresh taste of sliced sashimi and texture and the presentation. The Sashimi Platter consists of scallop, tuna, salmon, yellowtail, red snapper, shrimp.

The kicker of this platter the assortment of sauce you can dip your fish in (yuzu truffle soy, sesame soy, wasabi dressing, aji amarillo sauce).
entáculos de Pulpo is octopus anticucho, yuzu, purple potato. The grilled octopus, purple puree, was outrageously delicious

Arroz Chaufa is egg fried rice, Peruvian vegetables, spicy sesame soy. I would recommend ordering this dish. A simple dish but with some crunch and nice spice to it. You have the option to add meat to it but would recommend trying on its own.
