Foodie Fun Guy Arrived in Vancouver Baby!
The Flying Pig - Yaletown
1168 Hamilton Street, Vancouver

Arriving before midnight on a Thursday night in Vancouver. I notice not much restaurant was open. Then @tiffanylloo came to the rescue, and recommend @wearetheflyingpig. Multiple locations in the city, but Yaletown was the closest.
The place was very cozy, and I really like the bar set up inside. I was lucky happy hour was on, and the recommended dish "Truffled Jumbo Macaroni". Once the dish came out of the kitchen. All you can smell is all that truffle goodness. It had a delicious 4 cream sauce with perfectly cooked pasta. In my opinion, this is such a great dish for happy hour, especially in the late-night meal.
Then you have the "Salmon Cakes" with a pickle and dill dipping sauce. Those Salmond cakes had a generous portion of salmon! As I cut it in the middle, all you can is all salmon meat. I don't think you'll see that goodness in Toronto. Very delicious and I would recommend this. Pairing this with a local wheat brewer was extraordinary.

I love the happy hour menu and would come back to try more items. One item I'm thinking of, but not on the happy hour menu "Bone Marrow Cheesy Bread".
This is the restaurant was a great start to my food journey in Vancouver.
Thank you @tiffanylloo for the last-minute recommendation!
