Sikgaek Korean Restaurant

Yum Yum! Everybody is saying, Yum Yum! Everybody is saying it because it is Yum Yum !! Celebrated both the broskis birthday and the first time visiting Sikgaek Korean Restaurant and Bar. Let me tell you that this is the first time I've been to a Korean bar where there's decent lighting. Ever notice that most Korean bars are intimate with very low lighting. The interior is simple with cool artwork on its menu and very spacious. Speaking of Spacious and very kind service.

Sikgaek Korean Restaurant

800 Dundas St E unit A1, Mississauga

The Cheese Dakgalbi was a great start to your meal. Like who doesn't like spicy squid dipped around that beautifully melted mozzarella cheese. A dish you can never go wrong and must order in this place. It's something that excites your pallette right away while having makgeolli (rice wine). Then you also got the classic seafood pancake. The ratio of batter and assorted seafood was exquisite. Cutting through with your chopstick and seeing big chunks of seafood was a big plus for this restaurant.

Then we got that Padak (Fried Chicken with Green Onion), and Yangnyum (Marinated Spicy Chicken). The Korean fried chickens of Korean fried chickens. In my opinion, it can compete with the Fry, K-Pocha, or Monga. Greatly battered with the skin oh so crispy even the spicy chicken was not even soggy at all. The pieces were nicely cut and it can haunt anyone's dreams. Or even when you're baked.

End the meal with this Bulgogi Jungol. Assorted Mushrooms with Vegetables and clear noodles. The marinated beef was super tender, and everything works well on that simmering broth. It was a perfect ratio of beef, vegetables, noodles and soup.

At the end of this meal, you truly sleep like a baby and would come back for more.
